Our new "normal" is, well, now normal to us

Like most other salons out there, when reading over the new guidelines for reopening it looked like a lot of information, but once we started going over it I realized we had already incorporated many of the new standards into our regular practice back in March. Our clients are amazing and 99% come with their own mask and rarely does anyone miss the sanitizing station, except maybe a couple that were just too excited to get their lashes back, don't worry we send them back to sanitize before they get to reception to check in.

I have to admit that although I miss the all colourful, fluffy pillows, the fact that we covered our pillows in material that can be wiped down is comforting to both myself and all the staff, and as we now live in a time when safety comes first, I don't think we'll ever go back. I know we all have our favourite salons and for different reasons, but I encourage everyone to take a close look when they go for any type of appointment to make sure your surroundings are as safe as possible, is there sanitizer at the entrance? are high touch areas wiped down frequently? do you come in contact with any soft surfaces? and what about that pen and debit machine? We love seeing our clients again and catching up with them, all while doing what we can and aiming for an isolation free summer.
